Nested Between Rugged Cliffs and Valleys Dana Biosphere Reserve is Jordan’s Largest and most diverse natural reserve in Jordan, Located in South central Jordan The reserve was founded in 1989 around the Dana village and Wadi Dana stretch for more than 300 square kilometers.

Dana Biosphere Reserve is home for more than 800 species of planets and rare wildlife, such as Nubian ibex, Syrian wolf, and endangered birds of prey.

The reserve is full in History, Dana Village its self-date back to More than 500 Years old holding one of the oldest communities still stand until now, the Local community there still holding on the same tradition their ancestor did. passing knowledge from generation to generation, the way they dress, talk, eat, and move it’s like a journey through Time.

As you Hike along it famous trails like Wadi Dana Trail, Rummana Mountain Path or Sheq Al-Reesh Trail you will pass ancient ruins, gardens, and untouched wilderness.
